This collection was born from the desire to honour the gaze: that silent place where a face stops “appearing” and begins to reveal itself.
In children’s eyes, something rare comes to the surface: a truth that arrives before words, a light that has not yet learned to protect itself.
It is not a gaze that judges. It is a gaze that is present, that feels, that invites.
Each work is a brief yet intense encounter, like the moment you meet someone’s eyes and, for an instant, remember what you had set aside: the truest part of yourself, fragile and strong in the same breath.
“The Gaze of the Soul” is a silent reminder. An invitation to slow down, to listen inwardly, and to recognise that inner life which so often remains in the background, hidden beneath the noise of doing.
Because only those who truly know how to look, also know how to truly love.
This mini collection revolves around the beauty of human fragility: not as weakness, but as truth. Newborns embody it naturally, at once fragile and immensely powerful, transforming vulnerability into strength and into a language of its own.
I chose a consistent palette and an abstract space crossed by stylised flowers to create an emotional place rather than a narrative one: a “before,” an origin.
My work as an artist is a journey of rediscovering the uniqueness that belongs to us from birth. The body is only a vehicle; what truly matters is what makes us unrepeatable: our emotions, our scars, and our ability to transform pain into growth.
Here, fragility is a fracture that opens in the soul and lets the light in. It is the starting point of evolution: our greatest strength.

We are part of nature and of its cycles: within us, seasons exist, just as they do outside us.
These works portray the seasons as evolutionary stages of the human being: different and necessary moments, each with its own light and its own lesson.
I chose children as the subject because they embody what we often lose as we grow: spontaneity, presence, and the purity of the gaze.
“The Four Seasons” is an invitation to recognise ourselves, to embrace the moment we are living, and to remember that our essence is unique and deserves to be lived and shared, without masks.
This collection tells the story of a process of evolution: from birth to an opening toward the world.
It is a slow metamorphosis, made up of inner phases in which fragility asks for protection, and defences, like petals, become first a refuge and then a limit.
It is a deeply human condition: at times, we feel lost, too exposed, and we close ourselves off to keep ourselves from breaking.
The series is composed mainly of works on wooden panels, a living and resilient material, rooted, capable of holding memory and giving form to the idea of a “barrier.”
At the heart of the journey, however, appears a single work on canvas: an intentional fracture, deliberately “out of place.”
Work after work, the petals complete their cycle: they are born to protect, then they grow lighter, and finally they fall.
And in that opening, when there is no longer any need to hide, vulnerability ceases to be a limit and becomes a choice: determination, presence, truth.
In this collection, each work portrays a child together with an animal.
They are different scenes, different emotions, yet united by one shared gesture: surrender.
That letting go toward what stands on the other side, without control and without masks, as if, for a moment, the body could stop defending itself.
The realism of the children’s faces meets an abstract background: an inner landscape rather than a physical place.
It is there that the most essential human need takes shape: trust.
To seek cooperation, contact, alliance. Not because we are incomplete, but because we are made for relationship.
These works speak of community as an emotional home. They remind us that closing ourselves off is a form of protection that, over time, becomes a cage.
Relationship becomes an act of courage: stepping out of one’s own “room,” recognising the other, and recognising oneself.
